These are the recommended steps to becoming a new member. However, new members are welcomed throughout the academic year. Feel free to stop by any meeting early and talk to our staff!
Informationals are a great way to find out more about what our organization is all about. Spring 2019 informationals are on January 22nd and 23rd at 5:45 pm in the Memorial Student Center (MSC) room 2502. If you are unable to attend an informational, you can contact us at email@example.com for more information about the organization.
CEL is a non-selective organization, but we do have an application to get to know our new members. Please download an application by clicking here, fill it out, and email your completed application to firstname.lastname@example.org. CEL accepts applications throughout the year, but please submit your application before TBD so it can be processed before the New Engineering Member Orientation (NEMOs).
3. New Engineering Member Orientations
New Engineering Member Orientations (NEMOs) allow our staff members to get to know new members better and help us match new members to a committee within the organization. This fall, NEMOs dates, times, and location are soon to be determined. Check back here for the details!
4. Begin Attending Meetings and Events
Our meetings are on Monday nights from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. in the Emerging Technologies Building (ETB) room 1020. The New Member meeting for Spring 2019 is on January 28th.
5. Pay Membership Dues
Membership costs $70. You can pay dues in cash or check at a meeting (see Grant Decker) or online by clicking here. Please note that there is a two dollar discount if you pay in cash or by check.
